CASA PIXOS
We had the lovely opportunity to spend three weeks in the Bouganveille Apartments. The experience completely exceeded our expectations. The apartment itself is beautiful and the terrace makes it very difficult to bring oneself to actually explore anything else. We would have been totally happy to look out at the incredible view of the Mediterranean all day on the terrace and cook in the dream kitchen and relax in the comfortable bedrooms and living room. We're glad we didn't spend our whole time on the terrace though because the area and the town itself are full of things to discover, from local oil makers, to splendid blue beaches, grottoes, hikes, vineyards and beautiful twisting roads and tunnels and stairways in the old medieval town. We had the vacation of a lifetime at Casa Pixos and Pisciotta and it will always hold a dear place in our heart and memories.
HOTEL MARULIVO
We stayed for a week in the Hotel Marulvio at the end of a long vacation in Italy. Being from California we have been to many boutique hotels, spas, and fancy resorts. The simple elegance, classy design, splendid service and incredible views was unprecedented. The owners of the hotel are unbelievably helpful, warm and kind, truly living up to the "southern italian hospitality" and truly made our vacation even better. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with a great attention to detail and individuality. The terrace is a sight to be seen, the views, the drinks and the ocean breeze - the experience is breathtaking. We are so happy we spent just a little bit of our vacation in Pisciotta with the wonderful people at Hotel Marulivo it was the best part of our trip and we couldn't have been happier.
Hope you can use those!!
Love,
Alexa & Joe (wishing we could have more Pamela Cools!)

Hello Lea and Massimo,
Anton and I are back in San Francisco and wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had at Marulivo!! I just added your hotel to a website called tripadvisor.com, which is very popular in the US. It wasn't previously there. I also posted several pictures and wrote a review about how amazing the hotel is. The review should be available on that site in about a week.
Thank you again for making our holiday so wonderful.
Sincerely,
Laura de Jong

We just returned from a lovely holiday in a tiny, medieval village in southern Italy called Pisciotta. It is located about two hours south of the Amalfi Coast and an hour or so from the magnificent temples of Paestum. The village has 3 great restaurants and a marvelous hotel called Marulivo Hotel. It is a converted monastery with a terrace overlooking the sea, a breathtaking view. One has a delicious and generous breakfast on the terrace as well as drinks at sunset. The rooms are comfortable and charming, decorated with understated style and elegance.
The best part of the hotel is the couple who own it. Massimo and Lea are the so friendly, kind and helpful. You feel like guests in their home. They give great advice on the local sights, beautiful beaches, restaurants and do all they can to make sure that you enjoy your stay. Their adorable children also add to the pleasure of your visit. My husband and I can't wait to return to this bit of paradise and our lovely, new friends.
